Emotional intelligence as part of soft skills in the educational management process at the higher level

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to publicize the importance of emotional intelligence as part of the soft skills within the educational management process, which for many years has been observing the shortcomings suffered by teachers, not only at the higher level but at all educational levels. A bibliographic review was carried out in books and Internet journals, which allowed us to collect the relevant information for this objective. In this sense, we can discern that for the teaching work to emerge satisfactorily in the entire context of the word, it is necessary to have a healthy and well-reinforced emotional intelligence.
